ORNL wins 4 awards for technology transfer

Two of the awards went to innovations in the field of mass spectrometry, a method of measuring the characteristics of individual molecules. William Whitten, an ORNL senior research scientist developed the "Miniature Ion Trap Mass Analyzer" with Michael Ramsey, formerly of ORNL and now with 908 Devices, the technology's new licensee.

Vikings win multiple honors at ADchievement Awards

The Minnesota Vikings may not have won on the field in 2016, but they did win off of it. 

The team collected a host of honors during the NSF ADchievement Awards, which recognizes the best in sports advertising, with awards given in eight categories.

IIT-Kanpur professor Sanjay Mittal awarded with G D Birla Award for Scientific Research for 2015

IIT-Kanpur professor Sanjay Mittal in third week of June 2016 bagged the prestigious G D Birla Award for Scientific Research for 2015.

Mittal was instrumental in establishing the High Performance Computing (HPC) facility at IIT Kanpur and heads the National Wind Tunnel Facility.
