New Delhi: AAP MLA Dinesh Mohaniya was arrested today for misbehaviour with a woman. He was arrested while he was holding a press conference.The incident reportedly took place when women had approached him with a complaint regarding water problem in their locality. A woman had
filed an F.I.R. against Mohaniya (38), claiming that he ‘molested’ and ‘abused’ her. A case under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 341(punishment for wrongful restraint ) of IPC has been registered at Govindpuri police station against him. The AAP MLA Dinesh Mohaniya is also in trouble for allegedly slapping a 60-year-old man. The elderly man alleged Mohaniya to be ‘rude and spoilt’.However, MLA denied any wrongdoing and wanted police to investigate the case.
